Kida's ridiculous week

So last Monday I woke up and realized that Kida wasn't acting normal. She would cry when I picked her up, she wouldn't jump up on my legs when I was trying to put her leash on and she wouldn't eat or drink. I was really worried and decided that the pain was because of her hernia. So when I turned her over to look at it, I noticed that it looked different. It was more purple and a different shape. We weren't sure what to do because we couldn't afford to have her checked out, let alone have surgery. So we waited for a few days. But then Dave looked it up online and we read something about pinching off part of the intestine and either killing the animal or killing part of the intestine, causing major problems. On Monday night I had talked to the lady that I work for and mentioned that Kida was having problems. She originally offered to help, but I turned her down. After Dave looked it up and made us feel really awful, so when I went to her house again the next day I asked her if she was still willing to help she was so happy to! We made an appointment right away for the next morning, 6:30 am. When I went to the appointment, the vet told me that there was nothing wrong with her hernia and it wasn't causing her any pain. She said she would wait til she had her under, and cut open to be sure, and she'd let me know. They called me only an hour later (9:30) to tell me that everything went just fine and that she would be ready to go home at 11. When I went to get her, they told me that the hernia wasn't causing her any problems and that we would never have to worry about it, because it was completely healed inside.

Here is her hernia and her incision, soon it will be a small scar.

When we got home she was still totally wacked out from the anesthetic, so she was really funny. The new excitement for now is that every time she tries to poop, she squeals and won't walk anymore. It is really upsetting and sad. We don't know exactly why and we're hoping it goes away soon.

Disneyland!!!

DISNEYLAND!!!!
These are out of order. But you would never know! Thomas and Stefanie asked me to come along on their family trip to Disneyland. Disneyland has switch passes so that parents with a child can still go on rides. Christian and I had fun on the drive. Mostly we watched movies.

Christian wanted to take my picture. It's still pretty good, even though you can't see my face!
At certian times of the day they have shows, where they pick little kids from the audience, "train" them to be jedi knights, and then they get to fight Vader. Christian was too little, so Thomas took him to watch from a better place.

It was cute, and he really enjoyed it. Those are his favorite movies, and that's all we watched on the way to Cali! of course....

This new Toy Story ride was one of my favorites. It's just like the new Wii game. It is basically a shooting game like you'd find in an arcade. You go through like any other ride, but you spin around and shoot different things to earn points.
Toy Story(1,2,3) are Christian's other favorite movies.

Unfortunately Christian didn't like the ride...

Thank you Disneyland for taking the pictures that I couldn't!
(Thomas kicked my trash. I should have blurred the scores!)

(ps Christian is in 2 of these pictures. you just can't tell)

After we got off the ride, we were looking through the store at the end, when someone realized that Christian's ASU hat was gone. As you can tell from the pictures, we went in with the hat, and walked out without it. Thomas went back in the wrong way to see if he could find it. He was gone for a while so Christian and I took pictures while we waited.

He was really nervous about this ride. I took this picture with my phone, so I could send it to everyone at home. Right as I started to take this picture, the ride started and both of us were thrown from our seats...hence the face!

I don't know what the next sequence of pictures is about...He wasn't grumpy, so I'm not sure why he was folding his arms?

At one point Thomas and Stefanie were going on a ride, and the wait was pretty long, so Christian and I ventured out on our own. We came across Sulley taking pictures, so we hopped in line. Christian was really excited! After we took our picture I went to grab my camera and turned back around just in time to see Sulley pat Christian on the head. Christian then turned to the crowd, raised his arms and said "WHAT DID SULLEY JUST DO TO ME???" it was so cute and every started laughing.
Then of course, that was all he talked about. "Remember when Sulley weepounded me? And then I said what did Sulley just do to me?" It was adorable. (We have no idea where weepounded came from.) So later that day when Thomas and Stefanie were waiting in line again Christian and I came across Buzz. Of course we had to get in line, and just in time because then, Buzz's bodyguard got in line behind us and was turning people away. (That is a while other story!) The whole time we were waiting in line Christian kept saying how he hoped that Buzz would weepound him like Sulley. The line was really long and went really slow, so thankfully Thomas and Stefanie got there in time to see.

After the picture, Christian turned around to look at Buzz and was just in awe. Then Buzz tapped Christian on the nose with his index finger...That was even better then Sulley weepounding him! He was so ecstatic!!!
