Kida's ridiculous week

So last Monday I woke up and realized that Kida wasn't acting normal. She would cry when I picked her up, she wouldn't jump up on my legs when I was trying to put her leash on and she wouldn't eat or drink. I was really worried and decided that the pain was because of her hernia. So when I turned her over to look at it, I noticed that it looked different. It was more purple and a different shape. We weren't sure what to do because we couldn't afford to have her checked out, let alone have surgery. So we waited for a few days. But then Dave looked it up online and we read something about pinching off part of the intestine and either killing the animal or killing part of the intestine, causing major problems. On Monday night I had talked to the lady that I work for and mentioned that Kida was having problems. She originally offered to help, but I turned her down. After Dave looked it up and made us feel really awful, so when I went to her house again the next day I asked her if she was still willing to help she was so happy to! We made an appointment right away for the next morning, 6:30 am. When I went to the appointment, the vet told me that there was nothing wrong with her hernia and it wasn't causing her any pain. She said she would wait til she had her under, and cut open to be sure, and she'd let me know. They called me only an hour later (9:30) to tell me that everything went just fine and that she would be ready to go home at 11. When I went to get her, they told me that the hernia wasn't causing her any problems and that we would never have to worry about it, because it was completely healed inside.

Here is her hernia and her incision, soon it will be a small scar.

When we got home she was still totally wacked out from the anesthetic, so she was really funny. The new excitement for now is that every time she tries to poop, she squeals and won't walk anymore. It is really upsetting and sad. We don't know exactly why and we're hoping it goes away soon.
